How verification works

A badge on BonService has to be earned. Our verification team reviews every pro against the full standard, in plain language.

Registered business

Listed in Quebec's business registry. No fly by night operations.

Licensed

Trade licences checked where the law requires them, like RBQ, CMMTQ, and CMEQ.

Insured

Liability insurance on file before the badge goes up.

Review floor

At least 4.2 out of 5 across 15 or more community ratings, or strong local references we collect ourselves.

Responsiveness test

They must answer a quote request within two business days. Good work means nothing if you cannot reach them.

Yearly re-verification

Badges expire. Every pro is re-checked once a year.

Strike system

Two unresolved complaints in twelve months and the badge comes down.
